I'm sure by now everyone who is using Blackbaud is aware of the changes Blackbaud is implementing the end of February to end a portion of its integration with MS Office – specifically as it relates to producing acknowledgement letters directly out of RE. This change is being made for security reasons.
I am curious to know how you have been approaching new processes to produce those acknowledgements via Word/Excel merging outside of Raiser's Edge?
We are in the process of discussing this and I'm curious to know how others are handling.

While annoying, I don't see it as particularly complex – more a matter of changing one's current process and ensuring gifts are marked as 'acknowledged' in RE. It is not the end of the world ��
