    Hello all, 

    If anyone is involved with a University-run donor advised fund program, can you help provide some insights? 

    • Who or what area of campus is handling the day to day administration of the program, ex. fielding donor questions, overseeing the distributions from the DAFs, reporting to donors, etc.? 
    • Do you have a minimum amount of a DAF that must be designated back to the University? Is there an administration fee for the donor? or a required minimum distribution annually?
    • How does the receipting/gift recording work? I understand that any gift given to set up the DAF would be eligible for immediate tax deduction, but would the University count that in fundraising reports at the time of gift? Or would we just count the distributions that the donors may direct to the University as they are given?
