    This is the latest edition.  While noted as a "1st Edition," that is because it is the first GLOBAL edition.  It does, however, replace the 4th edition of the traditional (2009) CASE Standards.

    It is now available in print and will also be available in an electronic version.

    I'm excited and sad at the same time.  I've got a couple of decades worth of highlighting, margin scratch notes, and sticky notes I've carried over from version to version.  My 4th Edition is a well-worn friend.  Looks like a rainy day project to advance all my notes to the next version.

    Congratulations, John!  Question, please: I'm trying to reduce the amount of "stuff" I have and my environmental footprint, so I'm interested in the digital version. However, it appears it's only good for two years and then I'd have to pay full price again to keep accessing it?  Any thoughts on the hard copy vs. digital options?  I'm assuming you might have some insider knowledge that might help me figure out the best option.  Thanks, and congrats again.  Bill

    I have no insider - or outsider - knowledge.  In fact, I will be getting both versions.  I love marking up the paper version for reference purposes (and making notes for future editions).  But having the electronic version on the road is going to be incredibly useful.

    We ordered both electronic and hard copies, but they appear to be on back order. Has anyone received theirs yet or heard what the status is? I reached out to CASE last week but haven't heard back.

    Electronic should be available (access https://www.case.org/resources/case-global-reporting-standards-digital-subscription) from the login tied to the subscription, but we haven't seen the physical copies show up yet.
