Campaign vs. Annual Fund Reporting

I am looking for some resources in regards to reporting campaign total giving vs. annual fund total giving in annual reports. What is the consensus on listing people with total cumulative giving in one area of the annual report, versus separating campaign giving from annual fund? I am also aware that honor roll listings are antiquated, but our community still enjoys it, so we continue to do it. Any guidance or examples would be appreciated. Thank you!

I am a believer that the 'annual fund' is more of an internal understanding than external . . .while very important internally, hard to educate the masses of that vs. other giving.  as a result, any external indication/reporting of 'giving' would be cumulative of all they gave to . . .

internally it's good to know where a person is giving to but externally, the donor is giving to a project to your organization and that's all they really know.  to not include 'total' giving in any honor roll would open yourself up to lots of questions

    good luck
