At the end of last month we ran a webinar through APRA North Texas on fundraising analytics, and why they are super important in the current climate. We talked about using predictive modeling to develop attachment scores, patient connection scores, and annual giving likely donor scores. We then ran through how to use attachment and capacity to strategically segment prospects. That was followed by how to use algorithms to parse text (for example: senior job titles, roles, etc.), and approaches to append demographic, behavioral, and psychographic data to create a more informed view of each prospect. We then touched on using text parsing to automatically flag a "meaningful contact", and then finally we discussed best practices for how to make complicated modeling scores user friendly in day-to-day work, and how this can lead to a transformed "culture of analytics".
