VSE Survey FY20 - Athletics Seating

  • 1.  VSE Survey FY20 - Athletics Seating

    Posted 12 days ago
I know for the past 2 years CASE has allowed institutions to continue to count monies associated with athletic seating with the 80/20 rule. When I tried to find updated guidance for FY20's survey on the CASE website, I had no  luck-- and the references to the previous information has been removed too. Does anyone know if CASE is allowing 80% of athletic seating transactions still?

Those rules remain in place until the promulgation of the 5th edition of the CASE Guidelines.  That is anticipated next Spring and will apply to the VSE and Campaign periods beginning with the FY21/22 fiscal year.

    Hi John,

Does that mean from that point forward 0% of athletic seating can be counted?

No.  It means that when the next edition comes out they will tell you what the rules will be going forward.  They have not publicly announced what will or won't count beginning next fiscal year.
